Jacqueline Black

Jacqueline “Jackie” Black was admitted to the State Bar of California after graduating from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2010. Shortly thereafter, she was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2013.

Prior to joining Klein Fertility Law, Jackie practiced in both California and New York, with experience ranging from federal anti-trust and securities litigation to medical malpractice and professional liability actions. Jackie also spent several years in the public sector, working for the U.S. Navy, where she managed a portfolio of multi-million-dollar ship repair and modernization contracts and led teams through every aspect of the federal acquisition process — from strategy development and negotiation to compliance and administration. She is recognized for her ability to manage complex negotiations, safeguard sensitive information, and coordinate across diverse stakeholders — skills she now brings to her work supporting intended parents, donors, and surrogates alike.

Today, Jackie combines her strong legal background with a genuine passion for helping families grow, providing thoughtful guidance and advocacy for clients pursuing parenthood through third-party assisted reproduction.
